Lust List

Here are some of the things I am currently lusting after...

Lets start with Cosmetics.
I was a little skeptical of this product at first, but it is amazing! I got color matched in the bareMinerals store a couple days ago and was pleasantly surprised by how light it felt on my skin. Also, this foundation did not cling to and accentuate the dry areas of my face as liquid foundations typically do. Yay! This product is definitely on my wish list and will be purchased sometime in the near future. (but for now I have to worry about tuition payments-boo!)

Doesn't this palette just look so gorgeous? As an owner of the original naked palette I have a want for more urban decay eyeshadows (they're just so amazing!), especially matte ones. I almost bought the first naked basics at one point but now after seeing this new one I am happy I did not. I love the colors in this one so much better!

Ah yes, the Clarisonic. I would be happy with any Clarisonic really, but I have heard great things about the Mia2 specifically. If you haven't heard of this little guy I do not know where you have been. This cleansing brush has helped so many people enjoy healthier skin. It really is an amazing product. Go look it up right now. Not kidding, this product gets a lot of hype. I wish I could experience it too...

Now for the Non-Beauty items...

I have been trying to get my body back in shape and lately I have found that I enjoy running (even though I kind of suck at it right now and am just working on building up endurance). These running shoes look amazingly comfy (and they better be with that price tag). I enjoy my mint and grey Champion shoes from Target, really I do. But I wouldn't mind a nicer pair of running shoes. And man..,just look at these. They're just so bright and cool looking!

I have always enjoyed the outdoors, but lately I have been feeling quite inspired to do more things such as hiking and backpacking, especially backpacking. So the other day my wonderful eagle scout boyfriend took me to REI and helped me pick out a pack. The Osprey 65 liters is what I chose (and will be mine soon!) because it is very lightweight and comfortable.

We also went to the BassPro Shop together and I found a pair of hiking boots that I really like: The North Face Women's Storm Mid Boots. They're lightweight and waterproof-just what I need to get started with my outdoor adventures.

I am very happy with my nikon dslr, however I have been wanting a smaller camera to take with me everywhere, and lets be real: phone cameras just aren't cutting it. When I saw this camera by Samsung it was like love at first sight. Not only does this little camera take great quality photos and videos, but it also has a flip-up touch-screen! This camera would be amazing for my travels, especially trips with my boyfriend where we don't have anyone to take pictures for us. This flip-up screen makes the couples selfie much more doable! And with a Walt Disney World vacation coming up, this camera is at the top of my want list.

FabFitFun Summer Box!

FabFitFun is an amazing company directed towards women. They pride themselves in giving their readers "the latest and greatest in beauty, wellness, health, fitness, and fashion--everything a woman needs to feel good from the inside out." What a great mission! I love how they focus on beauty both inside and out.

The FabFitFun VIP subscription box is released seasonly, every three months, for $49.99 a box. I have to admit, I kind of freaked out over the price of this box, comparing it to other popular subscriptions. But this is not like those other popular boxes! Each FabFitFun box is filled with full size items totaling to be worth over $175-such a great deal!

Now onto the box I received:

This is how the box arrived, in a shoe-style box with the company's logo. It was taped shut on only one side which made it quick and easy to open.

Very nicely packaged. The VIP paper unfolds with descriptions and retail prices for each product within.

OK now lets show the goodies :)

Say hello to the beautiful Thursday Friday clutch/make-up bag. It feels very well-made, featuring nylon lining and a pretty gold metal zipper. This bag retails for $35.

I have been wanting a water bottle with an infuser for awhile now so when I realized this was in my box I jumped for joy (not really...ok, maybe a little). The built-in infuser allows you to add your favorite fruits and veggies to create a healthy naturally flavored water. This BPA-free bottle retails for $15.

The Balanced Guru No Frizz Hair Oil is a blend of jojoba, argan, and tamanu oils. I had the chance to test this out earlier today and it did a lovely job of calming my frizzy hair. (Oh and it smells good too!) This product retails for $25.

I am new to the world of Zoya nail polishes, but have been eyeing them for quite some time! Zoya is vegan-friendly and one of the top 5-Free nail polish brands. This color is Elodie, a a fresh melon pink with a little hint of coral. I look forward to using this next time I paint my nails! This retails for $9.

This is the Sona Dakar Flash Facial. It leaves the skin feeling soft and looking radiant. This luxurious product retails for $95. *gasp*

The box also came with a Slimfast birthday cake protein bar (which was actually quite yummy and kept me full, retail $1), a bag of POPchips ($1.29), Skintimate shave gel ($1.99), KISSTXX Lip Balm (oolala $5.99), and a pack of Always Xtra Protection Long Daily Liners ($1.50).

And the Grand Total is...

I am so happy I dished out the money for this box. It is a great combination of beauty, health, and lifestyle. Some of the products such as the shave gel and the pads were definitely nothing exciting but the other products made it worthwhile. I definitely will be purchasing from FabFitFun again and am looking forward to seeing what they put together for the fall!

From Me to You,

Melanie
